Why some video are download as .MOV and other .MP4
How can I have them all in MP4 format?
this doesn't work all the time, many editing program will convert from MOV to MP4. free Microsoft Clipchamp for exemple.
But my question was more, how to always create MP4 files instead of MOV files.
I may have the answer in the iPhone settings
Camera - Formats - choose most compatible, instead of High efficiency.
an MP4 file is larger than a MOV file though.

Perform File Type Conversion:
Try the following. Report back the results of opening it up. You can only perform this on one file at a time.
Use a Duplicate File:
There are two steps: Duplicate, then Rename.
First: Duplicate the File:
