Upgrade to Ventura - External Monitors still work?

Greetings.

I have been burned too many times with upgrades of all kinds.

Would love to move to Ventura, however we are running 4x monitors off our Studio Mac under Monterey 12.6 Studio Monitor, HDMI and (2) older 2009 cinema USB displays. I am fearful Ventura (or any other update) will interfere with that.

Has anyone had similar configuration without issue? And if we experience issue, would we be able to go back to 12.6 from Ventura?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Erase it as APFS. Consider how much space is used on Macintosh HD. You can partition it so an exact replica of the Macintosh HD content is installed plus migration assistant to bring over the data when the install is completed. I'd add 50 GB on the external to whatever the Macintosh HD is. You can always increase the partition size later if you find you need it.
