Fonts and Typefaces issue

Hello there!

When trying to install the DM Sans typeface family (official Google website), the Mac does not recognize most of the typefaces. Only two of the six spellings (designs) are available for installation. The remaining four are recognized by the system as already installed.

For example BOLD and REGULAR are installed. If you try to install an Medium or Italic font, Font Book App will say that this type of font is already installed.

How did you install the Font? Once I downloaded the font and unzipped it, I dragged the font folder into ~/Library/Fonts and had no issue. If you installed the font by dbl-clicking on each, try removing the font with Font Book and dragging the folder into the aforementioned folder.

I suppose it's possible you have a Font ID conflict with one of the other user fonts installed. If so, you would have to find out which one.
