Lost edit option in photos
With my last update- to Ventura 13.4, I appear to have lost the edit button in photos.

This is in Mac Photos? What happens if you select a picture and push return? or select a picture and choose the menu option Image>Show Edit Tools? Are you in Full Screen Mode? ESC or Fn-F will get you out.
The Edit button only appears when you are in Preview Mode, looking at a screen-sized image.
Enter Preview Mode from the Thumbnail view by selecting a picture and hitting the space bar.
In the Thumbnail view, the Search filed appears in that spot.
Is something else happening?
