MBP M1 Ventura 13.2.1 cannot use x2go

Hi there, I am currently using macOS Ventura. And I would like to use x2go to access a remote desktop of a server. However,

1. Every time I try to log in to my session, it gives me a message that it cannot find xQuartz (which I have opened before opening x2go). I need to set up the directory every time, and I am not sure if it is normal.
2. When setting the session preference, the session type cannot be set as "MATE", but automatically re-set to custom desktop, MATE.
3. The connection status shows "connecting", but never "connected".
