keyboard moves slightly like theirs air in it all the keys work still so it doesn’t NEED serviced YET does anyone else have any experience with any issues similar to this? how much would it cost to get repaired or could I fix it myself I just bought this M1 2020 and didn’t know the keyboard was wonky

The person you purchased that from put a keyboard protector on it which is what is causing the "wonky" feel. This is not part of the MacBook Air as shipped from Apple so taking to Apple will not resolve the issue..
You should however be able to simply remove it unless the previous user used some sort of protector that also adheres to the keys so simply be careful removing it and be patient and remove it slowly.

I agree with woodmeister50. It looks like an after-market protector, which can be removed.
Yeah it turns out it’s just a protector I didn’t know about it so the actual keyboard is fine thank you for the guidance your a lifesaver
It does look wonky. It looks like there's a membrane on the surface of the keyboard that got stretched out.
You say you just bought the computer. Did you buy it from Apple (refurbished)? I'd try to get that situation addressed right away (while you're within your returns period).
If it's working there's nothing to fix. There may never be anything to fix of the nature you speak of. What exactly would you repair when it's working?
Everybody experiences touch differently. I've never felt a KB filled with air; can't even imagine was that is.
I actually bought it from somebody else didn’t notice the keyboard until I got it home but I only paid $500, not sure what a memebrene is is the whole keyboard likely to fail soon? It’s a lil weird but is useable still
No video is ever going to convey feel. At least not yet.
I've seen KBs like that, but none are Apple. It's either got a plastic cover or it's a non Apple Membrane KB meant for harsh , maybe dusty, conditions. I seen them mostly in mechanics shops and industrial settings in my neck of the woods.
