Can I get an additional discount

In most cases, workplace discounts are applied before payment, unless your workplace uses its own payment method to receive the discount. After your discount is applied, you should be able to get the additional 2% cash back on the discounted price if using Apple Pay. You would get 1% cash back if you used the Titanium Apple Card or manually entered the card number on a website.

You can get an educational discount, and, if your workplace has a discount agreement with Apple then you can also get that. The payment method doesn’t matter when Apple applies discounts.

Very true, I did not take into consideration that the OP may work at Apple. There are other companies as well including T-Mobile, Panera Bread, Uber, Nike, Walgreens, and Ace Hardware that get 3% cash back as noted on the Apple Card Benefits page. Of course more can be added and some taken away in the future.
