If you are still on Mojave or earlier, you can check for any 32-bit software that is not supported on subsequent operating systems by using the free third-party Go64 application.
If you are on Catalina or later, check each third-party vendor site for version updates that are stated to be macOS Ventura compatible. That includes printer/scanner vendors where the device is not supported in Apple's AirPrint.
Some vendors will offer a Universal2 binary which means it should work on Intel or Apple Silicon (incuding M2) hardware. A 64-bit Intel compiled application may be supported by Apple's Rosetta2 tool, which you would be prompted to install if attempting to run said application for the first time.

I feel compelled to add.......Probably the BEST way is (even though more laborious) to check with each applications webpage or write to their support and specifically ask if their app is compatible with your M2 Apple Silicon computer. And just as importantly is to verify compatibility with the macOS version you are using.

Very good advise from previous contributor.
What is also suggested to user.
The supplied link below to check, based upon users input and not as reliable but at least some idea, in Broad Terms, if the existing software may or may not work in Ventura
FWIW, some people are posting to roaringapps that some applications are compatible with a version of macOS when they aren't. Apparently they think it's funny or clever. It's not 100% reliable.
As previous contributor has mentioned 😎
That is why the caveat " based upon users input and not as reliable " moniker was applied in a previous reply
Which is why the aforementioned previous contributor no longer recommends roaringapps as a source. 😎
+1. Which is why I omitted roaringapps too.
'Cause you's smart. 😎
Yes. VikingOSX pointed that out.
Just reiterating for clarity since there's been a lot of lateral commenting.
