Battery warning notifications in Ventura not visible in Settings. Weird charging behavior.

See here: Battery appears in the Control Center part of System Settings, not in Notifications:

Since there is no application called Batteries, there is no reason for that to appear where you are pointing to.

Notifications like "If you do not plug to a power outlet your mac will sleep soon" are governed by the OS, and you cannot enable or disable them.

Now the discrepancy between the information shown in two places is a bit odd - but could it be just a matter of a delay? I mean, say if a few minutes later it may say 25% instead of 23%, would it still say it is not charging?

Ok, now I see what you mean.

If you look closely at the screenshot in that article, you will see that is not the Notifications part of System Settings, but Control Center that is selected, and that is where the battery settings for displaying in the menu bar or control center are.

The Not Charging in the " Purple Square " agrees with the System Information.

Even if the charger is connected to the computer and plugged into a wall socket does not always translate to the Wall Socket IS providing electrical to Charger

When I have traveled abroad, I alway Test the wall sockets before hand.

There are times the wall socket requires a separate Light Switch type of On and Off to function ?

If you read carefully, the name is Batteries (plural). After thinking and searching a bit, I now know why: this is a third party application that the poster of that article has installed on his mac!

I don't think it is worth paying for, but it's your call. There are many other battery applications, some available in the Mac App Store, some elsewhere (as it the case with the application in question).
