(com.apple.DiskManagement.dis enter error 49153 Disk failed to mount on MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.4

I have asked the community. I have received several, apparently helpful replies. But still have the problem. I cannot mount a 4TB WD ext drive. The last two replies suggested uninstalling WD discovery software and then uninstalling ESET, which I did, though I have trusted them for years, and of course Clean My Mac, which I stopped using some years ago but there must be some evidence remaining on my computer that I had used it once upon a time. Does anybody else have any ideas?
