You may be the first that I recall wanting this feature that has never been in Apple's Preview, or Adobe's Acrobat Reader products. It doesn't exist in the Nitro PDF Pro editor either.
Seems to me that if there was a big enough customer ask, Adobe would have provided this viewing mode for Acrobat Reader long before Apple got around to it.
You can certainly send feedback to the macOS product team, but don't get your hope up.

Feel free to share your "want" with Apple.

For third party apps—If in doubt refer to the developers website; Support/Help/FAQ/known issues/compatibility /updates...

For you maybe, but all of my friends and colleagues really want this feature. I asked them why they don't say that to Apple. They answered me - we don't want to waste time on Apple because nothing was heard or it is too long to report or we just don't want to do that although we want it.

You will be surprised. I have been sharing my thought with apple since 2004. Surprise Surprise, none, like all other bug reports.
Not surprised at all. There are over 100,000,000 Mac users. Unless you can find a large portion of those users that want the same things as yourself, they're not likely to happen.
That is weird as this view is much easier and more intuitive when you deal with multiple page document. not only for editing but to have a birds view on a document like you have photos in Lightroom.
one of the first google inquiries showed me that other people also asked for the same thing in other forums

well since I have sent since 2004 about 4500 reports or feedbacks I hoped that at least one of them will be at least responded.
Have you not read the disclaimer st the top of every feedback page?
Use the form below to send us your comments. We read all feedback carefully, but we are unable to respond to each submission individually
That was to illustrate that people these days are either lazy or lost credit that they will be heard by big companies.
Also that is to illustrate that at my community I am not the one who needs this. Of course I didn't made a survey on a street but something tells me that if you ask people who deal with presentations, multiple page documents they would agree that they need it.
That's why I believe that if there was a tool where users can see what innovations and suggestions people do to the products and can easily add plus one to this or that - that will break the ice.
I did. My point was different. I said that I have got a lot of bugs or improvements to be made since 2004. but none of them were either resolved or fixed or added. that's all. I responded to your first argument.
that was it. I can't tell you how much time I spent talking and writing to Support Agent chats. sometimes there were more than one in one day. Unfortunately apple doesn't send you your emails as a copy although it should so that people can show evidences of their reports and emails. I work on mac since 2004 so yeah. And my profile here was registered that year. and my email was one of the first gmail users registered. Unfortunately in 2016-2017 I don't remember my account here on apple communities was renovated or reset so all my old posts were deleted or gone and I was told that I should live with it! It was also a very long story that cost me a lot if nerves and time and efforts.
You will be surprised. I have been sharing my thought with apple since 2004. Surprise Surprise, none, like all other bug reports.

Just to add, if all your friends and colleagues total up to 10 to 20 million, you might have something.

All I can say is good luck with your quest.

Just want to add, that's quite impressive. That's nearly one a day for 19 years.
