Apple Podcast app rewinds the podcast after pause and un-pause/play

When I resume playing a podcast after pausing - it seems to back the podcast up. Sometimes only 10 or 15 seconds - and sometimes as much as 90 seconds or even more. It's really annoying if you've just done a quick pause from earbuds to check something - the phone is out of easy reach stowed away - and you have to listen to the content again a second time after just hearing it!

I can't find a setting for this anywhere and it's only just started doing this a few weeks ago.

I have noticed this issue with map directions. Almost every time there is an announcement about a turn the podcast rewinds
