iPhone 14 Night Shift

Night Shift came on and won't turn off.

I turned off the Scheduled and Manually Enable toggle switches in Settings.

I restarted my phone.

The screen is still orange.

Thank you for responding.

I resolved the problem with help from a friend.

It was not Night Shift causing the orange screen. It was an orange filter, that is now off. I found it under:

Settings> Accessibility> Display & Text Size> Color Filters

I don’t know how that got turned on, but now it’s off.

Hello 229_nope,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

We want to clarify, when you go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Night Shift, is the slider in the ON or OFF position next to "Manually Enable Until Tomorrow"? If you try changing the color temperature below "Manually Enable Until Tomorrow", does that make any change to how the screen appears?

Having already done a standard restart with no change, you might also want to try a forced restart to see if that helps.

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Force restart iPhone

If iPhone isn’t responding, and you can’t turn it off then on, try forcing it to restart.

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button.
4. When the Apple logo appears, release the side button.

Best regards.
