Phone overheated

I left my phone in the sun for a while, it was about 85 degrees fahrenheit. When I came back, it said it overheated. I'm having trouble typing and I can't play videos, apps are occasionally crashing. Is there anything I can do about it???

iPhone X, iOS 16

This is normal and a precaution to prevent the insides of the iPhone getting too hot. Just leave it at room-temperature for a while and it should be fine. Do not put it in a refrigerator or freezer.
