Zoom controller keeps switching itself off

I have nearly the same problem… but the zoom controller doesn’t get switched off… it just disappears, without zoom deactivated or hiding the zoom controller. If i sleep the phone and wake again by keying in the passcode or using Face ID. it appears for a moment, then disappears.

This happens for periods of time. Other days it stays in place behaving normally.

Very frustrating.

That doesn’t work. The toggle in accessibility zoom settings is being switched to off.

Same here. The toggle mysteriously turns itself off every couple days so I have to go into settings and go into accessibility and turn it back on. Only then will the double and triple tap for zoom and zoom controls work. I didn't realize how often I used it until I had to keep turning it back on.
