Can i use an American sim card in my iPhone

I will be travelling to America soon, can I buy an American SIM and use this in my iPhone 14 which I purchased in the UK?

Your UK purchased iPhone 14 will work with a SIM card or an eSIM. A SIM card from an American carrier will work on your iPhone 14 if your iPhone has been carrier unlocked without restrictions.

I just want to reiterate that a SIM card or an eSIM from a US carrier will work as long as your iPhone is carrier unlocked without restrictions. I would check with your current carrier if you are not sure.
