How to disable low emission zone notifications in Maps?

I agree. Copenhagen recently introduced a low emission zone too. But as you describe, it is irrelevant for most vehicles. As a user, I would expect to be able to permanently dismiss these notifications, or even have them off by default.

Same issue here in netherlands. I get the notification everyday while driving back home into the low emission zone and it automatically zooms out the map, so I loose visibility on the next directions/route. I would prefer a less invasive notification but the best would be to be able to accept a zone once and for all like "Don't notify me again for this zone". Then the zone can still be shown when approaching but it should be not invasive and should not require action on the screen.

I live in cologne and also have this problem. It’s so irrelevant and also distracting. When I drive 150 km/h on the highway and this message pops up, man that’s no fun. What really concerns me tho is that Apple hasn’t had the idea yet that this might be dangerous and could potentially lead to lethal accidents. I hope someone from Apple is reading this and I hope they step back from releasing a new phone every year and go back to make things almost to perfection. There are so many software things that aren’t working how they should and that is just sad…

This 100% needs a way of de-activating. Not only do I already know it's an ULEZ zone, but my car is compliant so that means I doubly don't care.

Invasive. Distracting. Unnecessary.

I don't think that's a tagline Apple should be running with.

hi go to Settings  > Maps, then turn off Weather Conditions or Air Quality Index.

it does say features vary by country or region...hopefuly it works.
