Clock faded
The clock face is now faded after the last software update. It’s terrible. Whose genius idea was that? Apple please fix this with the next update!

Keep the iPhone display on longer – Apple Support
says
"The iPhone display stays on while you’re looking at it, but it dims and eventually locks (for your security) when you look away for a while. If you need the display to stay on longer (for example, when you’re navigating with Maps), you can change how long it takes iPhone to automatically dim and lock". (More info. in the article.)
Seems to be a power-saving feature ... and may be why clock-face appears dim.

We are all Apple users, like yourself, in the Community, so Apple itself is not here.
If you wish, you could send feedback to Apple:
They will likely not reply, but your request would reach the right people, those who can make changes.
