I have an old iPhone 3GS that I wanted to activate, but seems that the SIM card slot won't detect my SIM card. I want to just activate it to get the old feeling of iOS 6, and maybe use it as an iPod. My iPhone won't activate without a SIM card. How am I supposed to bypass the SIM card part??
I have tried cleaning the SIM card port, etc. I am getting frustrated.
I need to get this activated!

You don't a sim card is needed to activate an iphone.
