How to access my notes

I have a very old version of Scrivener and I can't access my notes because it says my app needs to be updated but I don't see how to do this. I have a MacBook

I have Notability on both my iMac and Macbook . The notes i save in the application on the Macbook are not visible on the imac. The app shows it is available on iCloud Drive. how do i find the docuements when using my iMac? I have the program Notability on both my iMac and Macbook. The application is listed in iCloud Drive. I cannot access the notes i've saved on the Macbook from the iMac. Everything else I have access to on both computers.

iMac does not sync notes from iOs 18 Hi, I updated my iPhone and iPad to the latest OS. My iMac is a 2017 model running Ventura 13.7. I just realised that any Notes that are updated on the iOS devices stopped syncing to the iMac, where I receive the message "Unsupported Note This note uses unsupported features. To view or edit it, upgrade to the latest version of macOS." I hope that this is not a case where Apple ignores the fact that we cannot replace all our Macs to see our notes. Does anyone know a solution please? Thank you

When there is an update for an app, you will see at the App Store icon on your Dock.
