Hello Eugeneofori,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the billing problem you're encountering when trying to update a game on Apple devices. I understand that you're frustrated by this issue, especially since you don't have a credit card and don't require billing purchases.

To address this issue, there are a few steps you can take:

1. Update your payment information: Even though you may not need a credit card for certain transactions, some apps or updates may require payment verification or authorization. You can try adding an alternative payment method, such as using an Apple ID balance or a gift card, to your Apple account. This way, you can complete the verification process when prompted and proceed with updating your games.

2. Check Family Sharing settings: If you are part of a Family Sharing group and someone else in the group has a payment method associated with their Apple ID, it's possible that the billing issue is related to the Family Sharing settings. Ensure that the Family Sharing organizer has enabled the option for shared purchases without requiring individual billing information.

3. Contact Apple Support: If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly. They can provide you with personalized assistance and help troubleshoot the specific billing problem you're facing. They have access to your account details and can guide you through the necessary steps to resolve the issue.

It's important to note that some apps or updates may require payment authorization even if you don't personally require billing. This is part of Apple's security measures and ensures that transactions are valid and authorized.

I hope these steps help you in addressing the billing problem and updating your games on Apple devices. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please let me know.

Best regards,

Lugab

OK this is messed up can you guys please let me update my stuff it keeps on saying that I have to add a credit card just so I can download or update a game. I’m trying to play a game with my little sister and I have to update it it will not let me. so when I try to go add a new credit card it keeps on saying from the day that I got it to now it keeps on saying that Credit card not added and then it’s saying add credit card later or add credit card. I’m not being rude but if we literally go to a Samsung phone it does not do that I might switch from Apple to Samsung if that does not start working. because not even going to lie at this point this is very ghetto.
