I tried to play a H264 1080i video on Browser and on my iPad , but error (the media could not be loaded, either because the server ỏ network failed or because the format is not supported). I want to know if it is because IOS doesn't support such kind of codec?

My Iphone can play H.264 progressive type but cannot play H.264 Interlaced type.
This is not issue file, I can play it on my Laptop or by VLC on Iphone.

H.264 is supported by iOS, is this only one specific file with this issue? If you have other H.264 files, do they play?
If so, it is possible the file may be corrupted or if this is a direct video on a site on the web, it may be a different background error on their end. If the site has a report feature, we'd recommend reporting the issue.
