Trying to change voicemail password
When I put in new password it freezes at saving new password

Voicemail uses cellular data and cannot use Wi-Fi, so you must have cellular data enabled when updating anything involved with voicemail. If that is not the cause of the issue log in directly to your carrier’s voicemail server to update the password. With most carriers you can do this by holding the “1” button on the phone keypad for a couple of seconds, or call your own number from your phone.
