“Your Apple ID or password is incorrect” Macbook App Store

Trying to upgrade Yosemite to Big Sur and to install Big Sur I need to log in into App Store. I’ve tried to do it plenty of times but every time it says that ID or pass is incorrect but it’s definitely correct since i’m receiving confirming messages on my iPhone every time i try do it. Any ideas?

You need to use your Mac user account, that is your login user name to sign in to the App Store.

You are sign in here .  .  .  with your Apple ID & Password.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

What happens when you use the same Apple ID & Password that you use to sign in here?

You don’t get me. Let me explain by the steps what’s wrong:

  • I’m trying to install macOS Big Sur on my Macbook.
  • I open Apple site where i press button to download in app store.
  • Then i have to log in into app store to download it.
  • After each attempt of logging i see the message that password is incorrect but it’s correct for sure because after each attempt i receive system-message on my iPhone with confirmation of logging in and then i receive confirmation code.
