Do deleted photos STILL take up iCloud storage space for the next 30 days? Will permanently deleting them from my computer *immediately* restore available space?

Hello Alan-in-Florida,

If you have the photos stored in iCloud and they're currently in the Recently Deleted folder, then yes they would still be using that storage. Deleting photos from the Recently Deleted folder would permanently remove them and make that space available again.

Manage your iCloud storage

Delete photos or recover deleted ones in Photos on Mac

Cheers!
