Changing Email app font Permenant

To increase the size of the font in the mail app, you would follow these steps found at Change the font size on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. This will also change the font size in Contacts, Calendar, Phone, Notes, and any other app that supports Dynamic Type:

Change the font size

1. Go to Settings > Display & Brightness, then select Text Size.

2. Drag the slider to select the font size you want.

Make the font even bigger

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility, then select Display & Text Size.

2. Tap Larger Text for larger font options.

3. Drag the slider to select the font size you want.

Making the text too large might make it hard to tap buttons or other functions within apps. Go back to your settings and adjust the font size as needed.

You can make the font for an individual message larger or smaller by using the Format menu in Mail.

With your message open, select Format > Style. Click "Bigger" or "Smaller" here to change the font size. You can also use the Command, (+) or Command, (-) keyboard shortcuts.
