Iphone 14 Pro, alarm and ringer volumes start high and then drop very low. All sound volume controls are turned all the way up.

They are designed to automatically lower the volume, but only once the phone has recognized that you have heard them. If you don't want that, you can turn the option off at Settings > Face ID & Passcode > Attention Aware Features.

Yes I like that feature but it’s not loud enough on the first ring
