Why does my iPhone not want to airdrop to my iMac? It has worked many times in the past and now only sporadically works.

Have you tried restarting both your mac and iPhone? This has helped in helping me fix this issue in the past. Also make sure your mac has enough storage to handle the files you want to airdrop.

Thank you so much! That worked to restart the two devices. I don't know why I didn't think to do that.
my iPhone won't airdrop to my apple computer. It just keeps saying "waiting," after I tap on my iMac button.
