iPhone 14 pro slow jnternet

I have an iPhone 14 pro, up to date with all software updates (currently iOS 16.5), and my internet access, both wifi (sparklight at home, but this is also true at work) and cellular (Verizon), is HORRIBLY slow. I’m talking 0.54 mbps down and 4.97mbps up. My husband on an older iPhone (12 mini) is getting 60 mbps down on the same wifi, and tv streaming is fine. So clearly it’s my phone. I’ve tried clearing browser cache and closing out all apps I’m not using and the problem persists. What gives?! Why did I buy the newest and nicest iPhone if it’s not going to work as well as one two years older?????

Troubleshooting Show WiFi on an iPhone:

A. Close All Apps:

An app is accessing the camera. So, close all apps. Hold you finger down as you swipe up. Then, close all of these open apps, by sweeping up quickly for all apps.

B. Restart your iPhone, Manually:

Go To: Settings
Select: General
Scroll to: the Very Bottom
Select: Shut Down
Slide Finger: to the Right
Wait: 30 Seconds
Power One: the iPhone
Try this Once More

C. Disable a VPN:

Are you using a VPN? If so, disable it.

A few more thoughts...

Troubleshooting Show WiFi on an iPhone:

A. Is Cellular Data ALWAYS Enabled?:

Disable Cellular Data, if enabled, and see if you get Wi-Fi to work.

B. Try Another Network:

See what happens when you connect to a different network. Is it any faster?

C. Reset your Router:

Power off your router for 30 seconds, and then power it back on. Try once more.
