How can I start my new iPhone with a new Apple ID but I do not know my Apple ID password

My Dad got me a new IPhone for my birthday I Lost my Really Old Apple ID Password that went with my really old MacBook Pro so he set it up temporarily for me to be able to use it, but he had to use his information.

How can I Switch my info to my new phone ?? I DO HAVE a New Apple ID & Apple ID PW. But I can’t access anything without verifying my Old Stuff Any Help would be Awesome !! I haven’t been able to use this MacBook Pro in at least 5 years. It’s in Mint Condition with a CD/DVDrom

Thanks for reaching out for support, we'll do all we can to help out. if you've forgotten the Apple ID information associated with your old MacBook Pro, use the following resources best equipped to assist with regaining that information:

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you forgot your Apple ID email address or phone number - Apple Support

If this is a matter of removing Activation Lock, you'll find additional info here: Activation Lock for Mac - Apple Support

You're also more than welcome to just set things up on your new iPhone using the new Apple ID and password. To do so just go to Settings > [your name] > Sign Out and chose to remove the data associated with your dads account from your iPhone.
