I recently purchased an iPhone XS Leather Folio Case, but the following functionality doesn’t work: “Open it and your iPhone XS wakes up. Close it and it goes to sleep” - please can you advise?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to get your iPhone to wake when opening the Apple Leather Folio Case. If you have a screen protector or anything on the display that could interfere with the cover from contacting the iPhone, as that could explain the situation. Otherwise, please contact Apple directly for further investigation:
