Playing video photos within my slideshow that includes mostly stills

All my saved albums, either standard albums or Shared Albums will show the embedded videos as stills on my Apple TV, whenI play a slideshow.

What I am doing to see my slideshow with embedded videos, is to save the slideshow as a film on my Mac - use the "Export" button in the slideshow project. Then import the exported video to Photos.

Now you can play it on TV, when you open Photos, then click the "Albums" tab and then the "Videos" Media kind album. Find your saved video there.

According to Apple documentation, you can create the slideshow with photos, excluding videos.

Create a slideshow and adjust slideshow settings

1. Open the Photos app  on Apple TV, then navigate to the Shared Albums or Albums category in the menu bar.

2. Note: If you don’t see the Shared Albums category, go to Settings > Users and Accounts > [default user account name], then select Photos and turn on Shared Albums.

3. Select an album, then select Play Slideshow.

4. Select to adjust any of the following settings:

* Shuffle Photos: Turn on to show your photos in random order.

* Repeat Photos: Turn on to play the slideshow continuously.

* Theme: Select a slideshow theme to apply a different style to your slideshow.

* Time Per Slide: Select how long to display each photo on the screen.

* Transition: Select the transition effect used between photos.

10. Select Start Slideshow.
