Philips Hue Lights "No Response" in Home App

All of my Philips Hue lights are displaying "No Response" in the Home app on my iPhone. In the native Hue app itself, the status of all the lights are properly displayed. Interestingly, the Home app on my Apple Watch shows all of the correct statuses of my lights as well. The issue seems to be relegated to the iOS version of the app. My Home bridge is an Apple TV 4K that is hardwired into a gigabit ethernet connection.

My iPhone is a 14 Pro Max that is updated to the latest stable iOS version, which at time of writing is 16.5. My Apple Watch and Apple TV are both fully up to date as well. I have also updated to the latest HomeKit architecture.

I have a number of other HomeKit devices that do behave properly in the Home app, including Sensi thermostats, TP-Link Kasa light switches and plugs, Sonos systems, and other Apple TV devices. This problem seems to involve only my Hue lights and only in the iOS version of the Home app.

I had this problem, out of the blue. Restarting, updating, checking network components. Nothing helped over the course of about two weeks. I have two hue bridges and approaching 100 hue devices. I could see that none of my HomePods or Apple TV's were claiming to be connected as home hub.

I did get it working today.

I unplugged or powered down every device I had that could be a home hub.

I restarted my hue bridges by unplugging and plugging them back in after a few minutes.

I started powering up each hub, one at a time. Each time, I waited to see if it would claim home hub status connected.

The first device did claim connected.

I tested the hue lights and such, Now they were all working as before.

I, then, started the other devices one by one. After powering a device, I waited and then tested the lights again before powering another.

Once all the devices were powered up, everything continued to work. Apple TV is listed as Home Hub and all the others are reporting stand by.

Crossing my fingers. This is not the first time it has happened to me. Last time, it seemed to fix itself after a bit. I figured it was an update killed it and another fixed it.

Hope this helps someone else out there.
