Handoff works for me for Safari, Mail, and Messages, but is not working for me for Podcasts or Apple Music. I've tried the typical solutions of toggling handoff, rejoining networks, etc. Any idea how I can fix this?

Apps that work with Handoff include Safari, Mail, Maps, Reminders, Calendar, Contacts, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, FaceTime,* and many third-party apps.
* Using Handoff with FaceTime requires macOS Ventura or later, iOS 16 or later, and iPadOS 16 or later.
It used to work though (albeit not terribly reliably). I’ve got the same issue - everything else works, but not Podcasts (though I can handoff between my phone and HomePod). Have tried all the usual measures.
also Podcasts intermittently thinks I’m in Germany and serves ads in German - I wonder if this is related?
It used to be that Music and Podcasts worked for Handoff. Is that no longer the case?
