AirPods for replacement

Hello. I was happy about the upgrade. I don't even know who to contact regarding the purchase of headphones. A week ago I bought headphones at a train station in New York. They didn't give me silicone. The model they gave me keeps falling out of my ear. What can I do ? It turns out nothing. I contacted every agency and it doesn't help. Such a big company in the world is not able to make a replacement? They wrote to me that I can return to the store and exchange. That means flying 9000 kilometers to replace a $160 item. logical???? Can such a large company give an instruction to the branch in Israel to exchange an item???
