Early 13” 2020 Macbook Pro (Intel)

On the night of June 1st, my MacBook touch bar started flickering green light. To resolve this, I uninstalled a bunch of apps, tried to reset the touch bar, updated my macOS to the latest. It continued to flicker green light. Then on the 4th of June, my mac started restarting randomly every 1 minute or so. Well, you can shut it down but when you try to use it, it will restart before you can do much. It shows this message;

Panic Medic Boot

A third-part kernel extension was preventing the computer successfully booting. All third-party kernel extensions have been disabled. You will be prompted to re_enable them in Privacy & Securitv System Settings as they are used.

I took it to an authorised Apple store in my city, we don't have any official Apple Store in my country. They did a diagnostic and didn't find anything tangible. They also couldn't reset it or do much while it was on because it keeps restarting.

Does anyone have an idea what's wrong? Cos the authorised apple store is suggesting that I should replace the logic board, which they confirmed shows no visible sign of damage or liquid. And to replace the touch ID, that I understand.

So even though third party extensions were disabled the laptop still would not boot?

Does the laptop boot into Safe Mode? If so, then run EtreCheck and post the report here so we can examine it for clues. Typical culprits for causing Kernel Panics are anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software. FYI, it is best if EtreCheck can be run while booted normally, but if the laptop reboots too quickly, then Safe Mode will have to do.

Make sure to disconnect all external devices in case one of them is causing a problem.

Did you or Apple perform a firmware "Restore"? This resets the T2 security chip & firmware and requires reinstalling macOS through Internet Recovery Mode. It is important to test this configuration thoroughly before installing any third party apps or restoring from a backup. If the laptop still has a problem in this clean configuration, then there is definitely a hardware issue that needs to be repaired.

The Logic Board is the most likely part to fail here, but it is hard to say for sure without more information such as an EtreCheck report which will include summaries of the Kernel Panics. The only reason the TouchID would need to be replaced is because it is paired with the Logic Board.
