Why will my studio Wi-Fi not connect to my Alexa Eco Dot 5?

Can you connect the Eco Dot to your "main" Wi-Fi router, if it cannot connect to the extender? If so, then that would point to the configuration of the extender that may be preventing it from working.
Have you carefully followed the set up instructions that came with your Eco Dot? If so, and that didn't work, have you contacted Amazon for assistance with this? ... as this is not an Apple device.
At which step in the setup process did it fail?
1. Plug in your Echo Dot: Connect the power adapter to your Echo Dot and plug it into a power outlet. The device will light up and show an orange ring, indicating that it's ready to set up.
2. Installing the Alexa app on your iPhone.
3. Running the Alexa app on your device.
4. Signing into your Amazon account.
5. Adding this Eco Dot to the Alexa app.
6. Connecting the Eco Dot to your local Wi-Fi network.
It is on the last of those steps. It will not connect to my Wi-Fi. It is an extension from my house Wi-Fi on the electric but there are still 2 bars. The iPhone radio connects. Sooo what eould be the problem. I know it is not an Apple product but thought those that matter may have some inkling. Thank you for all knowledge in this matter !!! 👍💯
Ok, well that rules out any issues with either your iPhone or your Eco Dot.
Since you have provided any information about your current network configuration, which includes these extenders, I'm afraid I can't be of much help.
One option is to contact the extender's manufacturer to see if they can assist you with this.
Thank you Tesserax, yes it does connect in house. How does one change the “configuration “ of the extension? Again thank you for the knowledge!
