Stolen device was showing up using "Find My" and now it is gone....

My MacBook Air was stolen in Europe and although the address was showing on my iPhone and new MacBook Air, it now is no longer showing.....I locked the device and I requested full erasure, which was "pending" the last time I could see it. I never disconnected it from the other devices. How can I trace it?

Thanks!

MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

Requesting full erasure is contradictory to tracing the Mac. When the device is available, it will be erased, and therefore no longer able to be tracked.
