ScreenTimeAgent using all the CPU and fans constantly blowing

My laptop fans are constantly blowing and I was wandering what it was about, so i went into activity monitor and saw that the ScreenTimeAgent process is using all of the CPU (around 100%, with occasional spikes above)

I tried quitting the process with the activity monitor (force quit) but can't seem to kill it. Killing via the terminal gives this error:

$ sudo kill -9 461

kill: 461: Operation not permitted

The problem occurred again after restarting.

How can this be fixed?

Is user profile accurate " MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2 " ?

Predicted on Yes .

Suggest updating the current Monterey version 12.2 to the current stable version of 12.6.6

There have been many Bug and Security updates since the 12.2 Monterey and maybe related to the issue this computer is experiencing now
