Failed to send messages
How do I get rid of a “failed to send” message from days ago even after deleting the conversation?

If you are still able to access this conversation in the Messages app on your iPad, follow these steps from Delete messages on iPad to remove this particular message:
Delete a message
1. Touch and hold a message bubble, then tap More.
2. Select the message bubbles you want to delete, then tap.
