Hello. I have a 2012 MacMini and a 2015 MacBook, both running Big Sur 11.7.7 and syncing desktop and documents with iCloud.
When I create a new Finder tag in either of the devices, it doesn't sync to the other. By that, I mean that the new tag name and colour circle won't apear in the tags section of the left column of the finder window in the other device. Is that a normal behaviour?

In the end, the solution was so simple that I should be ashamed of myself for not having noticed before asking. When I create a new tag in one device, it does sync to the other, but it is hidden. You need to go to Finder/preferences and tick the new tag for it to appear.

We understand your tags on your Macs are not syncing across iCloud. If you haven't already, restart both Macs to refresh running processes. Make sure that you're signed with the same Apple ID and have iCloud enabled in System Settings.
