How to prevent screen going black seconds after locking computer

Hi there Apple community!

I just got a new 14 inch macbook pro and I set a really nice 4k wallpaper and have it plugged into my external monitor, the problem I'm finding is that when I click the go to lock screen button, the wallpaper shows all nice and beautiful for a few seconds, and then the display instantly goes to sleep (goes to black)

I would like to just have my beautiful wallpaper show while the computer is in locked mode, is this possible?

I've tried fiddling with the battery and security settings but no luck...

Happy to try a command line solution as I am a developer!

Thank you so much in advance!

In the image below and sorry it is from mcOS 13.4 Ventura

Perhaps looking in System Preferences >> " Lock Screen " and fiddling with some of the setting in there may prove more fruitful

Adjust the " Turn display off when inactive " needs to be increased ?

In mine, I have it set to 3 Hours

Instead of having to use a Third Party Application ( user choice ) there is the ability to keep the screen form going off from whiten the Terminal Application

Terminal and copy this command below

man caffeinate

There are one specific command to keep the screen from going off

caffeinate -i
