My mother, who has significant memory issues, was unaware of these transactions, as her Visa card was automatically billed and payments were processed without her noticing. Most of the purchases were done in Growtopia but also in Roblox and a few other games. Attempts to Resolve: - Apple Support: They informed me that they can only address purchases made within the last two months. However, these transactions span from 2021 to last week. - Ubisoft/Growtopia: Their policy states they don't handle iOS refunds. - Visa/Nets: Only two months of possible refunds Context: My mother had been purchasing gift cards to fund my son's in-app purchases, believing this was the only method. Unbeknownst to her, my son made in-app purchases not undestanding the payments were made with unrestricted access to her Visa card, leading to these unauthorized expenditures. Impact: This substantial amount has significantly depleted my mother's savings. Request: Given the circumstances—my mother's cognitive challenges and the unintentional nature of my son's actions—I am seeking guidance on how to recover at least a portion of these funds. Any assistance or direction on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
