Iphone 14 Pro Max - iPhone disconnect from Wi-Fi when not in use?

There is nothing wrong with your phone, when the phone locks it disconnects from wifi, that is normal behavior been like this since the beginning of iphones.

IF you want to still stay connected to wifi, connect your device to a power source.
