iPod Nano 2nd generation Hold Switch

I got an iPod nano 2nd gen at a garage sale yesterday, but the hold switch only works when I press the top bezel down. The top bezel has a little bump in the middle, and when I use the hold switch without pressing it, it just slides back and forth. Do I need a replacement bezel or should I take the bezel out and glue it back in?
