My apple ID has my sons phone number also receiving my imessages and I can't seem to get it off?

My apple ID says I have 2 numbers associated with it. My cell phone and my sons. So he also gets my imessages. I can't seem to take it off. Any suggestions?

Check if this helps -> Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details -> https://appleid.apple.com

  • edit / update the trusted phone number.

Link your Apple ID with your trusted phone number and your son must also link his Apple ID with his trusted phone number.

Also check in Contacts whether they have been entered correctly.
