Power cord
I have a iMac desktop and the three prong adapter that goes into the little white box and plugs into the wall is missing what is it called and where can I get another one?

That looks like an inlet for a C5 power cable. The power cable (in the right colour) with the correct plug for the wall socket in your country may be available as a spare part from Apple (you may want to contact an authorised service provider).
A C5 cable (connector) as such is a standardised item.
