is there anyway possible my family could be tracking me without my knowledge?

If you are sharing your location, they can see it when they access the Find My App.
You must actually share your location. They cannot unilaterally see your location except if you are the Family Organizer. In which case the location is automatically shared to everyone in the Family Group.
If you are not the Family Organizer and are not sharing your location, then no, they cannot track you.
