Find My - Family Cloud

My family has family cloud and they see my location. My dad has birthday and i want tk make him suprise but im afraid if they find out my location, it would ruin the suprise. How can i turn it off? Airplane mode? In „Find My” there’s option in „Me” profile? to not share my location but if i turn it off, would they see it still ?

If you turn off location sharing then it should no longer be visible to family or friends.
