Can I transfer photos to a disc

Do you mean a CD/DVD?

If so, not directly.

If the iPhone has an Apple Lightning connection port, you can use a SanDisk iXpand flash drive to use as an external hard drive. They are available in various sizes.

You can also use that iXpand flash drive as a tool to save the photos to a real external hard drive or a CD/DVD afterwards. You need a computer.

iXpand Flash Drive are available at Apple Store and at Apple Authorized Service Providers.

iXpand flash drive app can be downloaded from the App Store.

See -> SanDisk iXpand-flashdrive Go -> SanDisk 64 GB iXpand Flash Drive Go - Apple

Then download the SanDisk iXpand Drive app from the App Store, see ->

Apple offcial SanDisk iXpand: SanDisk 64 GB iXpand Flash Drive Go - Apple

The process will vary slightly depending on whether you are using a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc, and whether you are using a Windows or macOS computer. Here are the general steps for both Windows and macOS:

On Windows:

  1. Prepare Your Photos:
    • Make sure all the photos you want to transfer are organized in a folder.
  1. Insert a Blank Disc:
    • Insert a blank CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc into your computer's disc drive.
  1. Open File Explorer:
    • Open File Explorer and navigate to the folder containing the photos.
  1. Select the Photos:
    • Select all the photos you want to transfer. You can do this by clicking and dragging to highlight them, or by pressing Ctrl + A to select all.
  1. Burn to Disc:
    • Right-click on the selected photos, choose "Send to," and then select your disc drive.
    • A "Burn a Disc" dialog box will appear. Choose "With a CD/DVD player" if you want to be able to use the disc on other devices. Then click "Next."
    • The photos will be copied to a temporary area. After copying, click the "Burn" option at the top of the File Explorer window. Follow the prompts to complete the process.

On macOS:

  1. Prepare Your Photos:
    • Organize all the photos you want to transfer in a folder.
  1. Insert a Blank Disc:
    • Insert a blank CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc into your computer's disc drive.
  1. Open Finder:
    • Open Finder and navigate to the folder containing the photos.
  1. Select the Photos:
    • Select all the photos you want to transfer by clicking and dragging to highlight them or pressing Command + A to select all.
  1. Burn to Disc:
    • With the photos selected, right-click and choose "Burn [folder name] to Disc."
    • A dialog box will appear asking you to name the disc and choose the burn speed. After making your selections, click "Burn."
    • The burning process will start, and your photos will be transferred to the disc.

Tips:

  • Ensure your computer has a disc drive that supports burning the type of disc you are using (CD, DVD, Blu-ray).
  • Use high-quality discs to ensure longevity and better compatibility with other devices.
  • Label your discs properly to avoid confusion later.

If you encounter any issues or have specific requirements, feel free to ask for more detailed instructions.
